It isn’t surprising, but the update’s only purpose is to fix bugs. It was only a matter of time, but SEGA has released an update for the Nintendo Switch version of Sonic Origins, bringing the compilation to version 1.4.0. It came out on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 the other day, followed by the PC version that night. Well, SEGA has been spending the past few days gradually rolling out the update. A patch for the game was confirmed to be in the works last month, so it wasn’t going to be long before the bugs were addressed.
Unfortunately, there has been a bunch of bugs that the game has had. Sonic Origins may have been released less than 2 months ago, but it is an understatement to say that the state of the game has been an issue.
